Trail Ridge Road

From Rocky Mountain National Park:

Westside Wednesday: Do you love to cross-country ski, snowshoe, or both? Beginning near the Colorado River Trailhead, the closed portion of Trail Ridge Road offers beautiful views and great opportunities to see wildlife. The gentle slope of the road allows for less arduous activity. The Never Summer Mountains tower above as you look across the snow covered Kawuneeche Valley. Remember: share the trail, not the track! Keeping snowshoe and ski tracks separate makes everyone's visit more enjoyable and safe. See you out there on the snow!
