DALLAS, TEXAS (May 22, 2024)- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 6 Administrator Dr. Earthea Nance will be joined by Secretary of the New Mexico Environment Department James Kenney, Infrastructure Advisor Rebecca Roose, Congresswoman Melanie Stansbury, staff from Senator Heinrich, staff from Senator Lujan, and staff from Congresswoman Leger Fernandez to celebrate $18,900,000 in grant funding to detect PFAS and emerging contaminates in public water systems across New Mexico.
