THURSDAY: EPA to Announce Nearly $800,000 Grant to Southern University for Pollution Prevention, Environmental Justice
(DALLAS – Oct. 18, 2023) On Thursday, officials from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), will present Southern University with a grant of nearly $800,000 from the agency’s Pollution Prevention program. The grant will fund a project to reduce water pollution from industrial facility clusters in Louisiana. Funding for the grant comes from the historic Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, part of the Biden-Harris Administration’s Investing In America agenda.
