MAKE AMERICA SAFE AGAIN: ICE Arrests Murderers, Child Pornographers, Assailants, and Drug Traffickers While sanctuary politicians release criminals from jails into our communities, ICE law enforcement officers are risking their lives to arrest criminals and get them out of our country WASHINGTON –– Yesterday, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested criminal illegal aliens convicted for murder, production of child pornography, assault with a deadly weapon, drug trafficking, and other heinous crimes. “While sanctuary politicians continue to demonize our ICE law enforcement, our ICE officers continue arresting public safety threats from our communities,” said Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. “Yesterday, ICE arrested criminal illegal aliens convicted for murder, production of child pornography, drug trafficking, and other despicable crimes. These types of violent, depraved criminals should never have been in the U.S. in the first place. Under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, we will not allow criminal illegal aliens to continue victimizing innocent Americans.” Arrests from yesterday include: Nelson Mauricio Gonzales, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador, convicted for murder in Dallas County, Texas. Raul Antonio Arevalo-Yanez, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador, a 7-year offender, convicted for indecent liberties with a child by parent and production of child pornography in Arlington, Virginia. Cristobal Arreaza, a criminal illegal alien from Venezuela, convicted for force/assault with a deadly weapon not firearm in Newport Beach, California. Alexis Herrera-Sillas, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, convicted for conspiracy to distribute cocaine in the Southern District of California. Roberto Nino-Reyes, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, convicted for carrying a concealed firearm in Orange County, Florida. Under the leadership of President Trump, the Department of Homeland Security is restoring the rule of law, delivering the most secure border ever, removing dangerous illegal aliens, and making America safer for generations to come.
