ICE Arrests Arsonists, Assailants, Drug Dealers, and Other Criminals

Nearly 70% of ICE arrests are of illegal aliens charged or convicted of a crime in the United States

WASHINGTON –– Yesterday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested criminal illegal aliens convicted for crimes including arson, burglary with assault, possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, and burglary.

“Yesterday, the men and women of ICE continued to make American communities safer by arresting arsonists, assailants, drug dealers, and other depraved criminal illegal aliens,” said Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis. “Under President Trump, if you come to our country illegally and break our laws, we will find you and we will arrest you. There is nothing that will stop ICE from putting American families, American children, and American lives FIRST.”

Arrests include:

Elias Torres-Collins, a criminal illegal alien from Honduras, convicted for arson in Tarrant County, Texas.

Juan David Fernandez-Garcia, a criminal illegal alien from Colombia, convicted for burglary with assault in Miami, Florida.

Juan Flores-Perez, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, convicted for conspiracy - possession of methamphetamine (500 grams or more) with the intent to distribute in the U.S. Court, Southern District of Florida.

Sophath Phuong, a criminal illegal alien from Cambodia, convicted for burglary, possessing instruments of crime, and criminal conspiracy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Juan Reyes-Gonzalez, a criminal illegal alien from Colombia, convicted for burglary in Carmel, New York.
