DHS Highlights Worst Arrests of Illegal Aliens, Including Murderers, Child Abusers, Robbers, and Gang Members in ICE Custody WASHINGTON – The United States Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released the following statement highlighting more examples of the worst illegal aliens that have been arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and are currently in ICE custody. “Every day, sanctuary politicians and their mouthpieces in the mainstream media try to demonize the men and women of DHS for enforcing our immigration laws,” said DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin. “But the patriots of ICE continue fulfilling their duty by arresting illegal aliens, including those convicted of murder, child abuse, robbery, and gang participation. While sanctuary politicians who call for abolishing ICE want these dangerous criminals on your streets, the Trump Administration will never back down and will never apologize for putting the safety of the American people first.” Among the worst illegal aliens currently in ICE custody are: Thanh Van Nguyen, an illegal alien from Vietnam and Vietnamese Boys gang member, arrested by ICE on June 4, 2026. His criminal history includes convictions for voluntary manslaughter, TWO counts of vehicle theft, burglary, receiving stolen property, and extortion in California. Quang Minh Tran, an illegal alien from Vietnam and Vietnamese Boys gang member, arrested by ICE on July 24, 2025. His criminal history includes first-degree murder, attempted murder, TWO counts of second-degree robbery, carrying a loaded firearm in a public place, possessing/manufacturing/selling a dangerous weapon, and extortion in California. Leonel David Vazquez Saavedra, an illegal alien from Mexico and Varrio Campito Locos gang member. His criminal history includes convictions for attempted murder and driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs in California. Osbert Marion Otien Owuor, an illegal alien from Kenya and Crips gang member, arrested by ICE on August 2, 2026. His criminal history includes convictions for homicide and assault with a deadly weapon in California. Juan Jose Ramos, an illegal alien from El Salvador and Surenos gang member, arrested by ICE on October 14, 2026. His criminal history includes convictions for attempted second-degree murder and assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury in California. Carlos Castro-Ramirez, an illegal alien from Mexico and Surenos gang member, arrested by ICE on October 13, 2026. His criminal history includes convictions for voluntary manslaughter and receiving known stolen property in California. Ricardo Iglesias-Martinez, an illegal alien from Cuba and Surenos gang member, arrested by ICE on April 6, 2026. His criminal history includes convictions for voluntary manslaughter, involuntary manslaughter, lewd or lascivious acts, continuous sexual abuse of a child, possession of a controlled substance, and carrying a concealed weapon in California. Guillermo Medina-Reyes, an illegal alien from Mexico and Surenos gang member, arrested by ICE on February 14, 2026. His criminal history includes a conviction for murder and arrests for robbery, TWO counts of vandalism, carjacking, grand theft, vehicle theft, assault with a deadly weapon, obstruct/resist executive officer, and being under the influence of a controlled substance in California. Elmer Enrique Arriola, an illegal alien from El Salvador and Surenos gang member, arrested by ICE on February 28, 2025. His criminal history includes convictions for attempted murder and shooting from a motor vehicle at person, and arrests for grand theft and THREE counts of prisoner in possession of a weapon in California. Alejandro Mendiola Escutia, an illegal alien from Mexico. His criminal history includes a conviction for first-degree murder in California. Byron Hernandez-Estrada, an illegal alien from Guatemala and Surenos gang member, arrested by ICE on August 23, 2021. His criminal history includes convictions for second-degree murder and possession of illegal substances in a prison facility in California. Cesar Enrique Lopez, an illegal alien from Mexico and Paisas gang member, arrested by ICE on May 6, 2025. His criminal history includes convictions for voluntary manslaughter, burglary, and inflict corporal injury on a spouse/cohabitant/date in California. Binh Huynh, an illegal alien from Vietnam, arrested by ICE on August 19, 2026. His criminal history includes convictions for first-degree murder, aggravated mayhem, assault with firearm on person, participating in a criminal street gang, and first-degree robbery in California. Vu Trong Nguyen, an illegal alien from Vietnam, arrested by ICE on April 10, 2025. His criminal history includes convictions for first-degree murder, FIVE counts of attempted first-degree murder, carrying a loaded firearm in a public place, receiving known stolen property, and shooting at an inhabited dwelling/vehicle in California. Erick Alexander Henriquez Granado, an illegal alien from El Salvador and MS-13 gang member. His criminal history includes convictions for homicide, battery, gang activity, assault, and driving under the influence of liquor in Texas. Cesar Efrain Hernandez-Lopez, an illegal alien from El Salvador and 18th Street Gang member. His criminal history includes convictions for homicide, robbery, battery, resisting an officer, and gang activity. Luis Alonso Rodriguez-Angel, an illegal alien from El Salvador and 18th Street Gang member. His criminal history includes an international warrant in his home country for homicide and illicit associations.
