Flournoy - Wallace House

During the 1830s the north (left) half of this farmhouse was built for a member of the Flournoy family. Reuben Wallace, a fine furniture maker, added the south (right) half and the porch in the 1850s. Reuben Wallace was the great uncle of Bess Wallace Truman. Located at 825 N. Main St., Independence, MO. Looking East. May 9, 2013.
