Wind and waves aren’t the only weather conditions to keep in mind when paddling in the Apostles. Heavy fog can turn even a short paddle into a long and dangerous crossing if you lose sight of your destination and don’t know your directions. Always carry a compass, map, navigation charts and weather radio with you when heading out on the lake. #safetysaturday
